Four anglers, swims steep with limited space so recommend taking a rope. Chub mainly from trotting on the beach at the cattle drink although fortunately no Cattle in the field this time and seems none this year looking at the grass. Fishing was hard though and few and far between. The Dean Macey swim produced as usual.

Some really nice swims..but many unfishable ..nice strimmed paths lead you to a 12ft drop..or thick mass of willow....as stated in last year's returns , some effort needs to go into making this a great venue..rather than just ok..

Not a great day for us, but we managed a couple of Chub to finish off our visit to the Wye.

A very challenging day in what looked like perfect conditions chub were welcome but some a little on the small side.

Lovely location. Bright sunshine all day. So not great conditions for barbel.
Fished till lunchtime. 6 small chub on 8mm spicy sausage.
More than enough swims to access. Bit of a walk to deeper section from orchard parking on a hot day.

Very tough day on the wye, no bites all day until a couple chub in the evening
