River very low and clear, caught steadily all day, nothing massive, good to see plenty of small ones coming through.
Did loose a couple of big feeders to start with: went down to a small sized feeder; didn't get snagged for rest of the day.

First visit to this stretch.Easily accessible and great views across the river. Water was a little low and clear but we had fish throughout the day on feeder and pellets and rolling meat.Lots of small Barbel here which is great to see for the future of the river but could not land one over 2 Lbs or so. some very good chub with a large amount of the total caught around the 4 Lb mark or more.
great days fishing enjoyed every minute and would love to try this spot again when there is a little more water running.

Groundbait feeder. Pellets, meat, worms, boilies... Difficult fishing but still put a bend in the rods.

A very pleasant day at a nice stretch of river, low and clear conditions but plenty of bites. Also plenty of canoeists during the middle part of the day but quieter in the morning and evening. The fishing definitely changed during the day and became surprising quiet in the evening. The bait used was the usual halibut pellets and meaty boilies mainly fished using a feeder but some fish caught trotting a float.

First visit to the Wye didn't dissapoint, once we settled in the bottom pool (listen to peoples advice) we caught steadily all day, the weather didn't seem to affect the fishing to much with the temperature about 25 degrees and sunny, boat traffic was quite light and most were respectful. All fish caught on pellets and feeders - take loads we got through 10 between us. Best advice - just enjoy it.

Weather was extremely hot on the day I fished and so I didn't start fishing until 6.30pm, fishing until dusk. A very enjoyable evenings angling on this lovely beat.

John Murphy's party fished all week finishing on Friday 15th. Caught steadily throughout the week with barbel to around 8lbs from bottom pool and Wyebank pool and lots of chub. John caught 7-8 barbel every day in fairly difficult conditions of constantly high water and chub to 5lbs with lots in the 3-4lb range. At least 70 good barbel through the week and lots of small ones too and loads of chub. Could have caught plenty more if fished until dark more consistently, usually finished around 7pm.

Well, what can I say about this brilliant red letter day? The water level was down at its summer level so we decided to fish the bottom pool - what a good decision this was. Started fishing about 11am till dusk. Using feeder & pellet tactics we caught barbel ranging from 1lb -7lb, chub 2-4lb. Numbers caught myself - 32 barbel, 24 chub; Ian - 12 barbel, 24 chub; Alan - 8 barbel, 12 chub. Must thank Don for his help & advice.

River up slightly, fish caught on pellet wagler and feeder. Be warned this is a very snaggy stretch lots of feeders lost on snags. This is a very good stretch with good access but is very expensive tackle wise.
