Enjoyable day with some Chub on the float from various croys near the top end of the stretch. No Barbel caught throughout the length. Water low and warm.

13 Chub

One 12 pound common and one lost of probably similar size, both from the margins near the big oak tree. A beautifully remote venue. Saw an absolute monster crashing over by the far bank, a mirror of at least 20lb.

Unfortunately MH was unable to make it on the day So SG SM still had a good days fishing the chub
Where out in abundance again with well over 75eh and SG 2 barbel and SM 1 barbal.

3 Barbel, 150 Chub

Unbelievable days fishing, i had 28 Chub all on Pellet waggler on the peg before the rapids/Island at the end of the beat.
my friend fished the peg by the style/fence he caught 21 Chub on the feeder up to 4lb 8oz.

49 Chub

Only fished for a couple hours with river low and clear but the fish were still active and feeding. All caught on feeder.

Didn't fish river was very low , after a hard day the previous day we decided not to fish.

Did not fish, as Club advised that water levels were too low.

Found the chub after a long day trying but once we had located them the fishing was excellent.
