Very hard fishing, came on for about 2 hours late afternoon.

2 Barbel, 2 Chub

2 Chub, 1 Pike

Fished in the evening, took a while to get into the fish. I lost a large fish late on! Perplexed to say the least.

Didn't start fishing till 5pm was a very busy and enjoyable evening landing 10 barbel best one going 10:10 and lost two. Whoever fished the swim in the middle of the woods the day or so before, don't worry I took your carrier bag of rubbish home, disgusting leaving that much litter about!

After a few hours on Legg Meadow for just an eel and a chub I moved into the woods and was hopeful when the first cast produced a barbel but it was a bit slow and bites were few and far between with just 3 more barbel and a chub over the following 6 hours.
Disappointingly there was quite a bit of rubbish in the swims along Legg Meadow including beer cans, newspaper and fishing related packaging. Is it too much to expect anglers to respect the environment and tidy up after themselves?

Fished mid afternoon to dusk, had barbel to 8 lb and chub to 5lb. Pleasent fishing canoe traffic much lighter at this time of day.

Fished all day until 20.30, pellet and groundbait feeder. Biggest barbel going 9lb 15oz

We fished at the meadow for 8 hours using pellet with cage feeders, tried just about every hook bait and didn't get one single bite between us all day!
Other anglers in the woods had a couple early on and that was it. Very disappointing day! Also the whole stretch of river is large to huge rocks on the bottom so kept getting snagged up and was losing gear all day!
