Difficult day on a rising river. Had one proper bite all day and managed to lose what felt like a decent fish. Also managed to lose about 20 quids worth of feeders, leads and hooks! Lovely beat though. Always a pleasure to fish a WUF beat.

Great day on the river. Pellet and feeder did the trick. 12 barbel in a rising river was excellent. No monsters but still very enjoyable for E and S. Lost a couple of feeders. Need to use 4oz ones to hold bottom with all the debris coming down. Once they move it then jams between the rocks.
Only the one eel.

12 Barbel, 1 Chub, 1 Other

Tipped with rain all day. Barbel first and second cast, then slowed down till after lunch. Finished with six barbel.
River pulling hard, banks slippery.

6 Barbel

Just a couple of barbel each, but we all had a great day - pellet worked for us, looking forward to another go...

9 Barbel

Hit the river at just the right time as it was starting to drop and fine down. The result was 16 barbel to 8.10 all taken on pellet from Legg Meadow, most upstreaming in mid river. Always enjoy fishing Courtfield but can't always count on a bag of this size.

16 Barbel

River rising just a little and had plenty of colour. Pellet and feeder tactic's. B had not caught a barbel for 37 years. Filled his boots today though. 18 barbel and 5 chub plus 2 eels.

River very high & rising. 6 barbel to 9lb 2oz lost 2 also. Thanks to Don & Kenny for the help & advice

River high & very coloured. Lots of weed coming through making fishing difficult. Biggest of the day 10lb exactly
