Lots of small chub upto 1lb on various tactics, 5 proper ones all from the final swim tight in to meat.

5 Chub

A very picturesque venue, which was fished for a couple of hours. It is well sheltered from the wind, with good access and parking. Water level was bank high. One of the trout caught by AP was a really nice one, perhaps 17 inches. The others were quite small. There are certainly fish in this lake!

A very windy and wet day, which made fishing very challenging. Around 10 fish between us in just a couple of hours, pulling wets. Most fish were 8 to 12 inches, stunning colours.

Did not fish due to water levels and temperature.

2 Trout

Fished for the morning. Not easy but managed to pick up a couple of fish each on teams of wets. Beautifully conditioned fish between 3/4-1 pound.

Low water levels and difficult conditions. A few fish were lost, in addition to the two landed. The fish landed were caught on small streamers.
A mink was sighted hunting along the edge of the river, downstream of the castle, behind the houses at the bottom of town.

Disappointed to be honest 0 trout only 17 perch after trying everything we were fishing for 10 hours and walked for 6-7 of the reservoir didn’t see 1 fish jump
