One 6lb barbel caught today. We did have the ticket for yesterday as well and the report submitted then reflects what happened today also.

1 Barbel

Hi, had 3 Barbel to one rod 11lb 7oz, 6lb 6oz and 6lb 5oz. Fishing conditions were tough with terminal tackle being lost on snags due to flow. Also banks were quite difficult to fish as rain made the steep banks slippy. However we all had a great time and look forward to visiting again soon. Although the other three rods did not catch, one other had a chance with a missed Barbel bite. We fished pellet with feeder and on reflection should have fished heavier feeders. 3oz feeders and 4oz leads did not hold bottom in main flow and quite quickly found a snag! Overall over the moon with 11.7lb Barbel though! Thank you for the opportunity, countryside was stunning.

Perfect conditions. 1 barbel 4lb. Heavy feeder and pellet will be back soon wonderfull river.

Sorry for the delay my Computer has been out of action. 3 barbel were caught under difficult conditions. All were taken by feeder method. River was high and fast flowing.

3 Barbel

Had two smallish pike. Didn't bother to weigh but both less than 10lb. Missed a strike from a bigger fish.

2 Pike

Conditions good, fished from 8:00am to 18:30pm. Four of us on this stretch ,we mainly fished two swims on the meadow and the other two anglers moved around more from the woods to the meadow. Unfortunately no fish. As always a beautiful place to fish but not so lucky this time. All were using feeder tactics with various hook bait, maybe a change in method needed for next visit.

River had good flow and colour. Rain with light wind. Had 1 bite, 1 Barbel 6lb 12oz.on pellet.

River conditions not too bad although quite coloured and rising it was fishable. After 7 hours without a bite very glad to pack up and go home, it had rained all day the banks were very slippery and muddy making some of the swims quite dangerous to fish. Also lost quite a lot of tackle as every swim l fished appeared to contain a lot of snags.

Arrived to find falling river after overnight rise. It was showing more colour than I have seen for a while so prospects looked good. Unfortunately, 7 hrs fishing resulted in 1 eel & little else. Love this stretch & will return soon.
