Sadly a blank for me today - more water and colour in the river than at my last visit. Only fished the afternoon but no bites to ledgered pellet despite moving swims several times.

Both barbel came in the afternoon on Krill boilies. First one was a superb fish of 10lb 5oz, the second in the 6/7lb bracket. Prior to that I had lots of chub pulls but only two larger fish took the bait on the hair and the hook. I suspect with a shortened hair I could have had a chub a chuck.
Conditions very mild. little breeze and the river at a good height and colour.

River dropping, caught through out the day, no monsters but all appreciated. Quite a bit of noise from the shoots, interested to see the pheasants sneaking across the field and flying across the river, they're not that daft.
