3 chub between us on a stretch that used to produce 4/6 Barbel or more each before the chain saw arrived.

Our favorite stretch. At least it was before removing most of the bankside trees. Preferred swims ruined. Managed two good Barbel of 9lbs and 8lbs. Improved parking next to river a great improvement.

A very slow and hot day in the sun. Some nibbling activity to pellet in the evening but no strike able bites and no fish. Had some fun with the chub on float fished bread but still no numbers of them.

Back on this beat after missing few years and the work that has been done is very pleasing too see with a good access to the bank side but we all thought it spook the fish and have move on some where
ELSE for a vacation as we are not too bad at fishing but is occasion they out smarted us with MH ONLY catching 4 chub and a eel with SM and SG with nothing to show for a long day.

A decent day considering the heat, all caught trotting. Some great work done creating new swims in good areas.

Hot day, could only manage a few chub all on meat.

The tree clearance work has created access to some new swims. One Gentleman on opposite bank fishing, who politely said he would move when we arrived, thank you. The fish clearly have other things on their minds at the moment!
