The tree clearance work has created access to some new swims. One Gentleman on opposite bank fishing, who politely said he would move when we arrived, thank you. The fish clearly have other things on their minds at the moment!

A very disappointing morning session. conditions seemed perfect, the venue was beautiful, swims were accessible - but the fish weren't playing. We tried multiple swims and baits but only managed 3 small chub between us.

River rose about 0.3m overnight and it was pushing through quite strongly. Had a small chub and 5lb barbel in the morning but then it went very quiet before I had to leave at 5pm.
