A great evening despite the pouring rain, thunder and lightening for most of it! Two large Barbel in great condition of 7.5lbs and 8.5lbs to ledgered pellet. Just what I wanted!

Nice 10lb 8 barbel thought it was bigger but great.

We both ended up having a great day despite a slow start to the day, the fish seemed to switch on in the afternoon when the sun gave way to cloudy damp conditions .Most of the Barbel were 4 -7 lbs with a cracking fish of 10 lbs 6 oz being the best of the day along with one of 8 lbs 7 oz.Also some nice Chub up to around 5 lbs

Only one swim produced as they have decided to take the trees that were in the water out. Spoilt a brilliant fishery
