Found today very hard ending in only 1 small Chubb around 2.5lbs being landed and another lost when attempting to net. Unusual for this stretch as we have always done extremely well here. Putting all this down to the very low level and big drop in temp. Fished from sun rise until 3pm then left

River was low and clear, and condition were tricky. Both fish came late afternoon to pellet and feeder. Fish easily spooked one fish from a swim then nothing. Kept moving through the day to find the fish and ended up with one each. Lovely stretch of river for a walk.

Lovely day on the river with temperatures starting to turn more autumnal. Three barbel caught between 6 - 9lbs on meat.
