Weather was terrible, and the track down to the river was very muddy, so cut the day short to make sure we could exit before the farm finished its days work. In case help was needed

A little more water than over the Summer months, but still quite clear. More fishable swims than last year. Fished the top and middle sections with hair-rigged halibut pellets behind a feeder containing pellets and halibut ground bait. Bottom more snaggy than previously, with a considerable amount of filamentous weed. Landed 3 barbel (8lb, 7lb and 6lb) - two at the top and one in the middle sections.
