Great days fishing at White House. My favourite beat.
3 caught on hemp and caster the rest boilies and pellets.
We all caught from the top end of the fishery. River was up by about a foot with a good colour.
Temp was 7.6.
We all stayed at The Falcon House B&B How Caple which we can’t recommend enough.

7 Barbel, 1 Chub

2nd day, still gales, plus showers today, but happy with our return 4 more barbel and a chub like to see what this beat looks like in the summer..

4 Barbel, 2 Chub

A tough cold day. The stretch isn’t the best for pike as it’s faster pace in the majority makes it difficult to fish. At the bottom end there is a eddying pool which was our best bet. We only landed two small jacks between us though, both of deadbaits.

2 Pike

River was gently rising after the rain - visibility still not bad at least 2 to 3 feet. Couldn't find the pike though! Next time We'll use faster sinking lines as not sure we were getting deep enough.

River level was dropping after previous day's rise. Thought it would be good but struggled. 1 nice barbel and 2 chub for me, friend blanked. Lovely stretch though.

Very comfortable stretch of the beautiful Wye, very helpful bailiff. Weather conditions a real March challenge

very windy but fishable , had 5 barbel out on 3 rods plus a chub happy in the conditions..

Conditions were tough in high winds and rain. Generally a disappointing beat with canal like features i.e. no features! I walked a considerable distance but could not find anything that resembled an accessible swim other than one exposed spot as you first enter the field. I am a frequent river angler and took a wrong punt on this beat when targeting Barbel.

River very low and clear. Banks muddy and slippery. Not a touch all day which is a first for me on this lovely fishery. Good to be out there though.
