Another hot day. River smooth and slightly coloured. Ledger fished with pellet. Very slow but a couple of really nice barbel. Left early as Heat was quite draining. Access excellent. Good job Colin!

Split the day into 2 because of the weather, fished until lunchtime managing 25 Chub to 4lb and a single Dace, all on floatfished corn. A few casts with straight lead and boilie produced 2 Barbel to near 7lb and one lost on a snag.
A return in the evening with one rod and some meat produced a further 4 Barbel to 7lb 6 oz and 2 Eels to about 2lb, a very enjoyable day indeed.

Day 2 on Caradoc, having fished the beat the previous day, the hottest August bank holiday on record. I returned to fish below the footbridge but this time fished a different swim. Started off trotting corn, straight away catching lots of small chublets 8oz - 1lb. Unable to get the bait to the bottom, I then changed to pellet feeder and caught a couple of small barbel and later had 5 barbel to 7lb...another enjoyable days fishing.

Two Anglers, One fished the method feeder and my brother fished with the float, not a single bite all day, a lot of people walk there dogs here so we had to put up with dogs in the water, there was also off road motor bikes going round and round the lake We were very surprised at the amount of noise, but it is a nice lake and will try again after the holiday season hope its a bit quieter by then.

First time I've used fishing passport and couldn't recommend it enougth. We both used cage feeder with pellets and pellets on the hook. The river was low and it was a really hot sunny day which weren't the best conditions. But we had an excellent time and still had 15 barbel between us.
