Tough conditions wind and high water .It is a nice spot on the river but is small for 4 anglers as limited swims , really need a couple more swims cut in bottom section and one on top to make it a nice beat . We only caught one barbel 2.5 lbs and 3 chub all on meat and had a few lost fish .

River had risen overnight and was fast and heavily coloured. Fished the beach but eventually had to move when the water continued to rise. Fished meat and pellet with feeder all day, no bites. Could not drive down the track as too slippery.

River levels fairly high so we had to fish in the big slack at the downstream end,had a couple of early fish before things went quiet in the afternoon sun, things livened up with plenty of bites later in the afternoon, some really nice fish today with the biggest ones going 10 lbs 11oz and 10 lbs 5 oz,along with a couple of eight and nine pounders most fish falling to swimfeeder and pellet hookbaits, looking forward to returning to this beat

The river was slightly up, coloured and bringing down a lot of debris from upstream. Hard to find swims that we were able to fish effectively, however still caught a chub and barbel. The barbel was 10lb 2oz and caught on luncheon meat.

Tough morning with all sorts of debris coming down after the storm. Managed to fish a couple of slacks with the reward of a barbel.
