Fairly tough conditions, River was quite low. Fished from 6am through to 5pm. Tried all the usual approaches and kept mobile. Perhaps should have started at the island pool as it wasn't fishable when the canoe traffic started and was the only section with any real pace. Caught some nice chub but no barbel this time.

Didn't fish, as threat of thunderstorms allied to the river conditions from yesterday.

No fish today, fished 12:00- 18:00 so left to early really, we wanted to watch the football. Weather was sunny, river was low, Good easy access to swims. We did have the same guy as yesterday on middle hill court with an accent checking our tickets as he claims he was a bailiff for angling dreams? Seemed friendly enough but just checking?

Poor fishing - nothing in the fast run below footbridge. No weed or signs of fish.

Beautiful location, wonderful day fishing. I only reeled in 1 roach, which was beautiful, followed by a couple of eels. Only down side was large amounts of paddle boarders and kayaks with obviously a stag and hen party playing loud music.

Nice fishery looks wise, not been here previously and packed up mid afternoon to get back to Hertfordshire at a reasonable time.
Will come back and give it another go in September.
