Come on then, where are they?!!. A very pleasant autumnal day on the river with resonable enough conditions but from 09:00 to 16:00, six swims, a wide bait repertoire, static and floating baits produced just a couple of knocks, finally at 16:00 two genuine bites resulting in a Chub of around 2lb. and a small but lively Barbel of around 5lb. then again absolutely dead until the last 35mins. which produced three good quality Chub, two over 4lbs. and one over 5lbs. and one small Barbel lost to a hook pull at the net, all taken on meat.

Blanked today. Couldn't find any fish using a variety of methods. Water very clear. Peaceful beat.

Another very cold start to the day sadly killed the barbel sport. Between four anglers the most we could muster up were 2 eels.

Absolutely brilliant day on a new beat for my son and I , we had 5 barbel up to 7 lb and 7 chub up to an amazing 5 lb 9 oz what a day conditions were perfect ???? river up a bit with a slight colour and very calm , the trees still seam to have there leaves so no rubbish on our line , most of the fish were on plain luncheon meat with a running ledger and the others were on pellet and feeder ! The wildlife was amazing plenty of kingfishers , deer and even pike chasing fish in the shallows , thanks for a proper red letter day .

Very pleasant day but quiet fishing with little interest despite trying a range of baits and methods.

Disappointing day's fishing despite conditions looking perfect. One bite resulted in one Chub. Tried everything from pellets, sweetcorn and meat.

fish was 2.77lb in lovely condition and hooked on a size 12 barbles hook with 2 14mm pellets below a cage feeder of 20z, the river was runnig fast, i missed a few bites, but a lovely day.
