First cast, caught straight away. Quiet couple of hours, then 3 on the bounce. 1.5-2 pounders. 2 an hour later. Inward breeze, 9mph wind, fishing in front of the house. Bubble and worm.

If you want your day fishing ruined by abusive paddle boarders the Usk is the place to go I’ve always enjoyed the Usk but it has gone downhill fast it resembles a camp site these days with anglers lighting camp fires on sunny days leaving litter everywhere such a shame for once was a good fishing experience a distant memory. I’m sorry to say the Usk won’t be seeing me again until they sort their act out
