Fished with a dropper the lower part of the beat but no takes or rises. Weather turned nicer and warmer in the afternoon but no hatches that I would had expected.
Gusty wind blowing downstream made casting upstreams challenging.

This beat is in good form and fishing well, with trout taking nymphs. Nothing rising. The rivel level was slightly on the high side and carrying a little colour but only to the extent that it improved the fishing conditions. All the fish caught were over 10", with one over 13".

A nasty rainy start with gusting cold winds waves crashing onto the back 12" tall.
Fish first cast then nowt up until 4pm when we packed up.
