Had a Barbel of 8lb at the end of the day along with a smaller one. Lots of Chub. All ledgering with meat/pellet.
Travel very light if planning to walk up the steep hill of death around the woods to the other side.. It's a trek and tough going if weather warm too!

Good water at 1'5", but no salmon encountered

Lovely beat set in a picturesque valley. Fishing was tricky with all fish coming in the evening. No barbel unfortunately but the Chub kept me entertained.
