River in fine shape, fisherman less so. Lower end of beat blocked by fallen trees

Spoilt because of litter left by night fishing groups.

Team who checked my ticket picked up what they could carry but rubbish everywhere including toilet roll and used barbeques. I pulled meters of mono out of the water and bushes.

This reservoir supplies Swansea with water and the rubbish and waste left is a hazard to wildlife and will increase processing costs and therefore water bills.

Not sure what can be done but some form of enforcement needs to happen and heavy fines and kit confiscations enforced.

Weather mixed, sunshine early in the day with light winds and cloudy with a stiff breeze on the afternoon. River looking good at a reasonable level.

We struggled today, nothing on nymphs and only the occasional rise to the dry. My fishing partner MB did the best today taking 3 to my 1, mostly taken on a hopper type fly.

Plenty of big brownies within eyeshot but couldn't persuade them to take. Quite a few large signal crayfish seen up near Rock Pool

One bite at 09:15:but nothing else all day. Really disappointed.

Nothing. Not even a bite. Wondering why I take my grandson here. Perhaps I'll try a different approach.
