New venue this one for me. Really lovely place to be. Struggled early on to locate any fish. Wind on water made it difficult to read swims. Weather was glorious for February though with lots of sunshine. Finally found some good fish with biggest Barbel at 7lb. Thoroughly enjoyable day out on the Wye.

Drop in temperature/ice on car windscreen meant we went trotting during the morning (no bites) and then targeted pike in the afternoon. Caught one pike, 12lb 5oz.

Targeted pike but no joy. A lovely stretch of river will definitely be back.

A cold and changeable day with a brisk downstream breeze. Not the best! No sign of any fish. A lovely beat nonetheless.
