I had two fish out of the rapids at the bottom limit of the beat first thing in the morning, one small and one much bigger around 3 1/2lb. My friend had one small trout put of the same stretch later in the day.
water very low and gin clear, lots of fish seen but mostly not interested.

A very hard day with low clear conditions and hot sun all day. All chub from the oxygenated water in the gulley on stick float and meat.
The hoped for barbel action when the sun fell didn't really happen but en enjoyable day nevertheless.

0 fish 3rd blank in a row never had more than one before fishing on bottom with worm did catch 3 kray fish not sure if they are stocking it very well I know 4 other people that have had blanks in the last few days
