Excellent day missed around six fish landed 2 all released safely to swim another day, fish rising all day.

Water at low summer levels but fishing was good with most fish on spiders. Up to 16”

Hopeless. 6 hours. Tried everything. No knocks, no follows, nothing. That's the second year in a row Dad has paid out for this beat. Very disappointed. I won't be coming back. Don't believe the hype.

Fly Fished the whole beat, saw 1 resident salmon in Vanstone. No pulls. Lovely height to fish the fly.

River was Low. We only fished upstream of bridge and fished nymphs using mainly an indicator although also fished New Zealand style but all fish came to Nymphs and indicator.

Cold, river low and a rudimentary hatch of olives...only a couple of fish rose to them

Blustery and cool, 2x trout to about 1lb landed, conditions a bit cold

Fly fished for a couple of hours. Nothing rising, water level was lower than usual and quite a wind when we were here.
