Another new beat for me making use of the WUF's excellent waters. A lovely sunny day, on an excellent and varied river. Caught a small wild brown nearer the top of the beat, drifting a iron blue parachute across a slower moving section. Later in the day, caught three excellent sized Grayling all on the dry near to the bottom of the beat right outside the hut. A wonderful day in beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to return.

Thanks to the Fishers team for great advice and putting us 'on the fish'. Only fished a few hours in the evening. Tried a few baits but eventually luncheon meats produced. One nice barbel, chub and eel.

3 Anglers fished same conditions and tactics as the previous day. Cannoes were even worse today!!

All chub being caught during the day and the barbel caught at dusk.

Other was an eel of about a pound. Barbel was 5lb 10oz

Few hours on this stretch good swims for a short stretch all fish came from 8mm pellet on feeder
