Fished from 0700-1030, first time on the beat. Only fished the lower section, water was low but some nice pools, spent a lot of time trying to tempt a few rising fish just below the wire fence over the river, but a combination of my skill, or lack of, trying to avoid the fence and overhang and wary fish failed.
A stalking, typical wild stream beat, beautiful morning but no fish. Will be back.

River low but cool, plenty of spring flows coming in from the hill sides and well shaded. A good number of small fish about 6 to 9 inches, with a feisty 12 incher being the best of a couple of hours. This short stretch flows through a campsite, so don't expect peace and quiet in the middle section. Sad to see rubbish and food items discarded into the river here. It does however have some excellent pools with a good depth to them. Spooked an extraordinary amount of small fish, bodes well for the future.

Walked a good part, of the bottom half of the section but didn't see anything to cast a fly at, therefore, no fish to report. I was a little disappointed by the amount of rubbish & broken bottles.

Water level really low , the access to the banks is almost impossible due to the nearby barbed wire, with high levels it can be very dangerous to fish, having no access other than along the river , very few trout of size, but before expressing a serious opinion I will have to go fishing again next spring .
I assume that the river is poached by the locals ,otherwise the presence of very few trout is inexplicable , I fished on small rivers and spring creecks all my life I know what i'm sayng

Two good carp caught. A surprising amount of fish showing and recovered very quickly despite the weather & water conditions.
