Fished the morning - had no luck working a nymph through the faster sections. Spotted one solitary fish sipping from the surface in the slow glides; someone else appeared on the horizon next to it, and it did not rise again.

Fly fishing. Overcast but calm.

Caught nor saw any sign of fish River quite coloured from overnight rain tried a variety of nymphs Some lovely looking stretches of river though

blanked - very brief hatch LDO's at 11am fish very spooky. rescued a lamb from the river. only 2 or 3 MB's

Clear day 3 rainbow trout caught and taken home.

River was I good condition, clear and normal levels. Managed to tempt a solitary small brown on a PTN.

5 fish caught on bottom using worm, 2 of the fish were returned back as they were small... All caught first thing in the morning and then quiet all day
