The river is a bit low , caught one small trout on an Adams dry

A very disappointing beat which is very difficult to access and is certainly not as mentioned one mile of double bank fishing, I could only access two small sections with the best spot being by the footbridge, no fish caught or seen!

Looked good, but no indication of any fish present.

Managed around 2/3rds of the beat today, starting from the bottom, where most of the decent pools seem to be located. Fished klink-n-dink as nothing rising despite decent hatches of olives and mayfly. Once above the footbridge, the middle section is quite hard work in stronger flow, and it wasn't until I reached the Rising Sun camping area that some more likely pools were evident. There are a couple of easy exit points about half way up the next field, and that was enough for me. Five fish around 10" and one at 14", all taking the nymph.

Very difficult fishing. Admittedly the water was on the rise and coloured but access very difficult and definitely no double bank access with barbed wire fencing both sides of the river

Great day, lots of small stream fish on a nymph in a few hours of fishing.

Nothing caught today but good to get out in the water. Lovely beat that will likely be easier to fish with lower levels.

Lovely day out but no fish. Tried deep pools with euronymphing and klink n dink around more pocketed sections but not a sniff. River still running high and no rises seen despite plenty hatching. Best of this beat at the bottom end, top mostly high gradient riffles without many good pools.

Shallow waters making it quite difficult. 2 caught on gold head nymph.
