9 Barbel

Lovely Day, water was very low in most places, and quite overgrown making it hard to cast where the deeper pools were, missed a few takes on the elk hair caddis but that was down to experience (my first wild brook) had a 7ft 6 rod and would have been better off with a 6ft but hey ho. There is barbed-wire in a number of places and care should be taken.

River low and slow
All fish caught were small apart from 1 chub on meat and pellet,ledgering

stunning place, should have picked a better day, too bright.
two small fish to a claret dabbler.

2 Trout

used worm caught one Rainbow trout 620g, good clean fish, just before 1100, had a few bites between then and leaving at 1530.
noise from canoeists and paddleboarders between 1100 and 1230 although they did keep a good distance from anglers

0 fish. Very slow day. No bites or fish seen. Caught 1 crayfish on the last cast of the day

2 rainbows , 2 browns and 3 perch between 2 anglers.
