Probably last time I'll fish Llwyn On. 3 trout caught on legered worm, but all smallish stockies. There is no evidence from anyone's returns that there are any larger trout left in the reservoir. In fact, there appears to be nothing above 2lb. There is, however, undeniable evidence of poaching on an industrial scale including multiple lines attached to anchored floats, and massive overuse of powerbait. (Probably doesn't help that the local tackle shop promote and encourage the use of it up there and are happy to sell it in bulk quantities to customers.) There are also people camping overnight, leaving glass bottles, litter and campfire debris everywhere. Welsh Water bailiffs refuse to police their own rules, so what's the point in having them, and what's the point in genuine, honest anglers continuing to pay to go there? It's a huge shame.

Great fun. Fish rising in tail of the pools. Germany evened the score from yesterday!
Otter appeared mid day without a care in the world. Swam between us at 10 feet away. Awesome.
