Started below the footbridge, saw fast moving fish heading upstream.
3 rises all afternoon, fished a dry and nymph combo, had one rise to the dry but no takes.
River levels and water was good.

Sunshine and showers with an occasional blustery shower - nice to have some traditional April weather. There were a few olives hatching through the afternoon. Landed nine fish, most in the 11 to 13 inch range with two larger ones at 2 1/4lb and just under 2lb, all on dry olive emerger patterns. It could have been better but I missed lots of takes and spooked a couple of good fish lying in very shallow water. Watching an otter for a few minutes rounded off the day nicely.
