2 Trout, 1 Grayling

Fished the new weir area from 4pm. Had two good chub almost immediately then nothing until I moved upstream a little then 2 more chub followed by a barbel at about 8.30. Chub between 3 and 4'8'' and barbel about 6". Hot but good sport throughout

First time on this beat and in very hot conditions, found fish in the deeper channels.
Pellet and feeder worked best.

A quick couple of hours session on an evening ticket and a nice couple of trout . Nothing doing in the pacier water but some a very good number sipping away on something tiny in the very slow glide at lower craig lyn pool . Could have been plenty more in the net I'm sure if I could have got my act together sooner ! A very tiny para Adams got them interested in the end .

river the lowest I have ever fished it 1 angler fished top section and 1 angler fished bottom stretch, most fish came from the top section all fish caught on pellet

With low water and bright sun virtually nothing moved the whole time we were there. However, we still managed a very creditable 3/4 lb Brownie caught at the bottom of the beat on a CDC emerger. Otherwise, dead as a dodo and we were in the pub by lunchtime.
