We arrived early and the river looked in really good condition.
After a slow morning things improved in the afternoon and we caught 2 Barbel and 8 Chub.

Low water and the fish not seemingly being interested meant it was a difficult day. Heavy rain during the day worsened our moods and we decided to pack up about 6 ish even though we knew the barbel would probably start to come out in that last hour of light.
