River low, water temp high not good conditions, went to reservoir instead. No fish caught. It would be helpful if more details about where to park and where to access the river was made available.

Bright sunny, water temp high. No fish showing all afternoon and in to evening. Tough conditions and no fish caught. Tried buzzers nymphs and wet flies in various combinations. Nothing seemed to work.

Fist of 2 days on the Wye, to hot to fish really - managed a couple of chub and 2 eels - really hard going though.

Two barbel around 6lbs and 7lbs lovely days fishing. F

Barbel up to 8.5 lbs . Great day again at Sugwas even though the fishing was slow. All fish caught on pellets around 5 pm opposite the houses

Conditions against us, boiling hot, river very low and clear. We fished too end of beat, in the woods, two other anglers fished lower down river, at the start of the woods, they also blanked, no bites whatsoever. The guide who looks after this beat is very helpful and lots of advice. Will go back when we have had some rain or gets cooler, great stretch of river and some good pegs, easy access to bankside, a good walk through woods to top end

Very difficulty place to find and if it wasn't for a very helpful river keeper would have still been looking!
a lot of the stretch is unfishable due to high banks with few only a few swims cut out.
Quite a lot of slowish water probably better in the winter with a lot more water

4 Barbel, 7 Chub

10 x trout 6-9 inches, Parachute Adams. Another early morning visit, before the heat of the day. I'm afraid I have to report that the owner of the right bank garden opposite our single left bank fishing at the top of the beat , always to some extent territorial in his attitude over the last 10 years, has become more so than ever. This morning I had to spend five minutes parrying angry accusations that his garden had been invaded and garden furniture moved around. If you decide to fish this bit (the last pool to the Beat Stop sign), could I ask you please to be very careful to stay in the left bank half of the river and scrupulously respect his property rights as you fish. One never comes well out of a disagreement with a neighbour and I wouldn't to provide any ammunition for his use. If you want to avoid unpleasantness, you might consider skipping the last pool.
