Caught 2 rainbow trout. One was 1 lb 2 oz, the other 1lb 8 oz. The first fish was caught on the west side of the reservoir about 400m north of the dam on a silver mepps type spinner.
The second fish (bigger of the two) was caught on the east side just opposite the first parking (lay-by) area, using a silver toby.
Good fishing at this lake at the moment. Second successful visit in one week.

Very hot, did not see any rising fish, had a few follows on nymphs but by mid day the swimmers muddied the water up and all it went dead from there on.
Lovely day though.

Very sunny, French leader. Excellent river to fish and great location.

Each 1 rainbow trout caught and some bites. All were by spoon. Very lovely day for sleeping beside the lake.

Lots of fish in the river I tried spinning with flying C's and the fly for most of the time but no takes.

A very sunny day and clear water made for difficult fishing. Very few fish were feeding on the surface until the sun came off the water at which stage we had a few fish on emergers. No evening hatch to speak of.

A stonking hot day, all day and into the evening. Two fish only fell to a Tups, I blanked myself, well done mate.
