3x rainbow trout, all caught on spinner, fish all around 2lb mark. I counted 8 cormorants,4 goosanders in my corner of the res.They are breeding on these waters, and will end up on the rivers killing the wild fish.

Ten pound hen fish from No 3 on size 10 Irish Gold shrimp double, hooked at 1855 on what was meant to be last casts of the day.Netted in the dusk

Two coloured cock fish today on a size 12 Allys Shrimp.

Very tricky the few hours I was on this beat. Water low, clear with very bright conditions with the bigger fish laying idle in very shallow water. I dropped down to 1lb tippet on a ten foot leader and still managed to spook 90% of fish targeted. On the plus side saw a fair few grayling in the 10-14 size so with a good downpour and some pace to the water could have a good day for winter grayling.

None caught, one fish seen.

Warm and sunny day, river in good condition. Moved around throughout the day in search of fish, barbel didn't show until 5pm. All barbel caught between 5lb and 7lb.

4 Barbel, 3 Chub

Very few grayling rising. As it takes me 33 hours plus to drive one way, useful info would be good. Not to bad for me as I have spent too much time fishing-some may say. But if less experienced fishermen do not get helpful advice they will go to a easy fishing venue. Lovely autumn day sunny seemed good conditions: just not sure why grayling not rising??? Nice river

Conditions were good. Fish caught early but very bright and sunny weather put fish off later nice stretch of the river with varied flow.
