Fly & spinning from 0900. Mild, westerly breeze. Nothing at all for 3 hours, despite walking some distance. Better in early afternoon, although stocking on the day probably had something to do with it. A few rainbows returned as they were quite small. All taken on fly.

When we arrived, the river was almost bank, so fished the slacks between bankside willows, and watched the trees floating past!
Had just three chub between us, before we were advised to leave the fishery within a couple of hours, as another meter of water was expected .
