Clear water with a short mayfly hatch. Small numbers of lacewing seen. Plenty of fry throughout with the deeper pools holding fish up to 8". A couple of fallen trees in the stream. All fish returned. Great afternoon!

For unforseen reasons we only fished for an hour around midday so unsurprising no fish were caught! Beautiful spot nonetheless.

Beautiful morning for fishing, water clear, good height / flow and massive may flies all over the place. Only downside was large number of noisy campers and children playing in one of the better pool series of this beat - perhaps to be expected on a fine bank holiday weekend! Still, small price to pay for a very enjoyable few hours. 1 decent 10" and others all around the 6" mark. Missed several.

Fished this lake all day had two common carp. Both carp around the 12lb mark nice condition. Lots of small silver fish around. Saw a few small carp swimming on surface but we're easily spooked. All fish caught on meat and sweetcorn.

Beautiful day on the Wye. Bright and warm with plenty of sunburn to go round. Water was clear, about 1'6" on the guage and falling all day. We thrashed to water for a few hours, but the bright sun kept most of the fish deep. We only managed three between us, all were under 10". A few small fish rising to various olives, pale watery, adams etc but most didn't stick.
A couple of us briefly tried fishing nymphs in the deeper channels and had a couple of pulls, but nothing more.
Lovely setting and a good day out. The highlight was probably wading across the section just below the car park and almost stepping on a pair of 15" -ish brownies holding in the thigh-deep fast water, I'm not sure which of us was more shocked.
