Nice water level, not quite clear. My first time on this beat. Really nice and I will be back despite a scramble or two. Some upwings about but only saw one trout rising. Changed to a dry, but could not get a rise mainly due to incompetence. Better luck on the NZ dropper. 5 trout on a Polish Nymph two of which were a decent size. Several others got off before they reached the net. A very satisfying day in beautiful surroundings.

An evening session from 19.30 to 21.00 looking for mayfly risers. 4 nice trout landed and and several missed or lost. Still quite a few mayfly around plus medium olives.

Fished between 4 and 6pm. No fish seen rising and both fish caught prospecting on parachute adams in deeper pools. Both safely returned.

Fished for 4 hours, warm sunny day plenty of mayflies on the water . No fish caught and not one single rise seen. This is the second time I have fished this river in the last three days and have not seen any fish rise

After checking the river levels and the weather forecast for the week ahead I took a gamble and booked the beat last weekend. River was dropping slowly during the week and was just fishable on the day with the gauge at Titley Mill showing 0.4m and running fairly clear. One or two Mayfly hatching off during the morning with a few more in the afternoon. Due to the light rain the Mayfly seemed to be on the water for some time but with no activity from the trout. Tempted 3 fish to an Emerging Mayfly pattern but only managed to hook and land 1 WBT measuring about 8 inches. Saw 2 pairs of Kingfishers which appeared to be nesting in the river banks and plenty of Dippers. Once again lovely day on the Arrow.

Went up for a couple of hours mid afternoon. A few fish rising and 1 circa 9” WBT caught on parachute adams and returned.

1x hard earned , hard fighting 12in wbt. The only rise seen in 4hrs , too high too soon ? Came to grey duster.

Very bright and runing crystal clear, no fish seen apart from some fry, lovely stretch of river. car park was full when I got there with 3 cars as there is a cabin being used in the woods ,the nice lady from the farm came out and pointed me in the direction of the gate half back up the track which she said it was OK to park in front of

Went along at midday to see if there was any surface activity. Nothing seen and little fly activity/hatches. Beautiful sunny day but probably still too cold.
