WOW best days fishing ever. Where do I start. Started fishing 7.30am caught chub steadily all day upto 6lb, me and my mate must of had 40 good sized fish and plenty of dace and smaller chub. Decided to move downstream about 7pm and thats when the fun really started, fished till 9.30pm. In this 2 1/2 hour spell I had 10 barbel over 5lb upto 7lb and my mate had 13 barbel of the same weight. I have never seen such a feeding frenzy like it they were leaping out of the water taking on the drop. Halibut pellets caught them all. Thanks WUF

4 brown trout caught on size 16 grey duster all returned.

My son and I fished early morning to late evening, 6 chub 3 barbel, all nice clean fish, canoes not a problem. Thanks to Allyson at the booking office.

7 fish in total...all brown trout...the largest of about 1 and half pounds, the others all about 1lb. 2 caught on klinkhammer dry flies and 5 on nymphs. Foundation was/is as efficient as ever...stayed at the Dragon at Crickhowell and can highly recommend it. Thank you for all your help. All fish returned to the water.

7 - 8 fish including a couple of salmon parr and a 1.5lb chub. Best trout was around 1 lb but lost a couple of much larger ones. All caught on a flash back nymph strung under a dry sedge. Cool with a strong downstream breeze. Few rising fish and no evening rise although there were a few medium sedges about.

A blank day, but most enjoyable for all that.

8 barbel between the three of us to 8lb 4oz. Lovely bit of river with lush pasture to fish from.

11 brown trout, best 14" and 12". 12 grayling with the best 16", a number over 12" and many lost, Superb!! Saw an otter, very tame, swam past not a care in the world. Also a mink not so tame!

River very low. Caught 3 trout, 1 on dry fly 2 on nymph. Biggest fish 10" all returned.
