With the river low and the temperatures nearing 30 degrees for the start of September we concentrated on fishing early morning and late evening. Some good barbel to 8lb although the fish tended to come in short bursts.

Didn't fish due to very hot weather.

Good day in tough heatwave conditions, as others have commented access is a good workout!

very warm, bright clear day - made it a challenging days fishing, but a pleasure to be on such a nice well kept stretch of the river, thanks for the post that pointed out the gate was at the end of the double yellow lines - made it much easier to find.

Very enjoyable morning fishing, early start 07.00 ,water level low, V hot at midday, no rises, but did manage 1 fish, PTN.will return
