Nothing caught and not a fish seen although conditions were promising.

A good day on the creel, chub averaging 3lb to feeder , pellets and boilies, barbel not on the feed today,

Really good days fishing and fish biting throughout the day. The trek over the hill, and through the woods is a bit hard work, but worth it. All fish caught on boilies and luncheon meat, mainly on feeder, but I got snagged up quite a bit, although my son fishing up stream end didn't get snagged at all. I caught a couple trotting, but didn't bring enough free offerings to really get them going.

The other fish was an eel of about 2 pounds

2 Anglers. Sunny day. No sign of Barbel today. Found some good swims lower down. Caught in the shady ones. Lovely scenery and a Kingfisher added to our day.

With the river low and clear was always going to be a difficult day, blew my only chance of the day with a hook pull at the net and a decent Barbel was lost. Plenty off knocks in the afternoon but no fish. Started on a straight lead and finished trotting a float bonus is its a beautiful place to spend the day.
