Just under 2 miles in length and located just below Ystradgynlais, beat 2 offers excellent fishing for both wild and stocked fish (the club owns and operates a fish rearing facility which produces very high quality triploid fish to supplement the indigenous wild population).

The river follows the same pattern as most good trout rivers with the best of the fishing to be had in the afternoon in March, April and May. Exceptional levels of fly hatches including March Browns, Dark Olives, Iron Blues, Medium Olives, Pale Wateries, Blue Winged Olives and various species of Sedge provides a high quality dry fly sport as well as modern nymph fishing techniques.

Recent seasons have seen quite a number of very large trout caught, particularly during the early season hatches.

Anglers should be aware that this is Club water and exclusivity cannot be guaranteed.
