¾ of a mile of right bank upper Usk trout fishing, ½ mile downstream of Sennybridge. This stretch of river is made up of 4 superb pools, including the famous Quarry Pool which is a noted salmon catch. The quality of the brown trout fishing here is excellent; with fish over 3lbs appearing regularly. Where the Cilieni stream enters the main river, known as the Junction Pool, is a particular hot spot for trout, which you could spend all day fishing in itself! With the river flowing over a mixture of gravel and bedrock there is a good variety of features. The ease of wading is also varied, however, so studded soles are advised.
Half price evening tickets can be purchased from 1st May and after 1pm on the day of fishing. Fishing is allowed from 5pm.
