Strewth this old girl needs some serious rain!!! I've put on hold, some chaps that want a wild stream experience...Too low water isn't a fair deal, and with four feet wading upstream, it gives trout even more reason to scarper !!!!
With mega slow, moon wading, today was doable, but just that, slow!!! Stealth and precision were the key words of the day....
I fished between nine and ten to one....Only up to Glan Edw Farm, cut out there, by which time I was more than ready for a cold diet coke in my ice bag in the truck ....
Eight fish, mega strong, when they're hooked in ten inches of water !!! Great fun, but it would be nice to have two or three good days of rain now !!No chance of that in the next week or so anyway ......
Anyway, a lovely session, even on the bones of the Edw ...The kingfisher and dipper were busy, as were the grey squirrels !!! I'll need to nail those soon .....
Still a few mayfly dancing around here ... Think I counted seven or eight on the wing ...Nice to see....
Right thats me, out with a mukka on Nantymoch early next week....Happy days !!!!
