We arrived to a coloured river, started in the first swim on the corner and had the only barbel of the day 5.5lbs. Moved down to the boat house and had most of the chub that came in the day to 4 lbs. Then fished the beach and had a few more chub before moving back to the corner swim for a few more chub. Lovely stretch will be back.

Barbel 2nd cast at 7lb 7 and then only chub came to the feed, some nice size chub up-to 5lb. Conditions looked perfect shame about the fishermen. Could have caught chub all day long smashing the feeder and pop a robin red on they love them. Back in October can’t wait.
