Very low river level, mainly feeder fishing, chub was the main catch of the day. 2 small barbel caught noon time

2 Barbel, 28 Chub

River low. Lots of Chub all day long, on a variety of tactics. Just the 2 Barbel. A couple of Perch mixed in.

We used pellets on a banded hooklink.

Four rainbow trout all caught on worm.

Packed up early river low the only swim with oxygenated water was taking, lovely place but won’t be back until there’s a bit more water in the river.

Not good to fish the beach on a Saturday with the amount of boats/canoes coming down I would say about 50! Left at 4 due to the long journey home.

7 Barbel, 1 Chub

Hard work getting through the chub hitting the feeder as soon as it hit the water. Barbel caught in the lower section. Caravans are in the upper section apparently they are aloud 4 fishermen a day on that part? Is this correct Wye and Usk if so not much exclusivity! Lucky the top section didn’t look the oart for a change. Unbelievable amount of canoes today on the most part they were ok but you do get the odd drunk!
