River level high quite hard to hold bottom. Best barbel 9lb 2oz.

Second day, same river access issues. River coloured and raised after rain. Fish caught on luncheon meat.

Had to give up after 2 hours rivers started to rise every other cast caught leaves 2 Trout on wets

Lovely stretch, scenery is amazing. Some swims are steep, but ropes were in place to assist, which they certainly did, and other swims more easily accessible. Overall, a great venue. 4 fished.

3 anglers, using ledgering tactics , the river was rising and had good colour ,weather was cloudy and warm . Once we managed to to find a spot to fish it was very productive but accessibility was very poor for an older and less mobile angler. The conditions on the river bank was dangerous and mostly inaccessible. We travelled a long way to fish this beautiful river and were in danger of not being able to to fish at all because of the access

Tough conditions, falling river seemed to turn the fish off completely, struggled for bites, one lone barbel of around 7lb and a few welcome chub we’re all we had to show for a full days hard fishing, all caught on pellet and feeder

poor day . not a bite in 7hrs of fishing bottom end of lake to the left of dam wall. spin and float fishing.. might be due to noise of works going on by dam wall. thats my excuse anyway!!
