A difficult day. Just a trickle hatch of LDO and only sporadic rises. Water still high and wading was difficult. Sadly, I lost a fish of around 18” and was broken by another. A very obliging 12”er saved the day late on.

Lovely stretch of river. Not much insect life, and didn't see any fish rising. Caught two trout in the deeper runs on heavy caddis nymphs.

Beautiful day, sunny around 13 degrees, I fish less then half day, ( afternoon) , I was spinning with micro spoons, sadly very little activity, few nibbles and two brown landed and return!
